Would your feelings be any different if NWA got a 28% raise and equity and delta was left out?

Pre-Merger,until the SLI is resolved, I believe it is up to your union to negotiate for you. Perhaps you should ask them to do just that.

Lest we forget that the wonderful folks at Delta had planned to picket NWA's hubs in Minneapolis and Detroit.

What the hell was that supposed to accomplish?

Talk about inept MEC leadership.

What the hell is the point of that post?

I've been trying to figure out your agenda 757driver.
The only conclusion I can come up with is that you're not a pilot at all.
Some kind of management type most likely. Either that or a pilot's ex-wife.

Why not answer the question. What possible motive did the DAL MEC have in picketing NWA hubs?

Anybody??????????

Doubt it.

But, if you're the guy who wrote a post in your (CAL) forum, my hat's off to you. Was it you? Flt. to Deli?

Because that's where Northwest Airline's customers are?

Are you trying to say that informational picketing at the airports would have been an attempt by Delta's pilots to influence the Northwest pilots? How would that work? You're losing me here.

Check,
757driver has been antagonizing delta pilots throughout this forum...don't let him reel you in.

If you are truly a CAL pilot, you have a lot to learn. Prater is quite a leader by the way. It has taken the DAL MEC to set a new course when it comes to merger events. Name another airline in the history of aviation that has been involved at the infancy stages of a merger?

We will watch closely how CALPA plays its hand in the merger game.

Just because you are not privy to what the intent of picketing was or is, does not mean there is not a valid plan behind what the DAL MEC would like to accomplish.

Check,

We might be moving into 2/3 territory here. I'm not sure yet. I will only point out that you guys did get permits to picket our hubs and not inform the NWA MEC.

Which speaks to a point I was trying to make on another thread. It is ok that we disagreed on the SLI. But, the other behind the door stuff makes NWA pilots somewhat distru****l.

1. DAL MEC's negotiations with management. (No notice to NWA MEC)

2. DAL MEC's get permits to picket MSP, DTW, MEM. (No notice given to NWA MEC)

Communication is the key to trust. Which in my opinion, the lack of has started us off on the wrong foot.

Respectfully,

New K Now

Commuinication is the key to trust, agreed. However, Do you feel you are being communicated to by your MEC? Are you sure they weren't informed? If I remember correctly, the picketing rumors started before the permits were optained. Perhaps they knew and didn't pass on that info
