And it takes skill and the ability to get to the airport quick for the trips. All of the GS that I have flown this summer have been less than two hrs to departure.

On another note, anybody knows the minimum grouping for Days off and working days in order to swap our rsv days off? i.e. I think the computer won't accept input if the proposed schedule puts less than 3 days on in a roll, is that correct? I think it won't accept input with less than 2 days off in a roll as well.

I have had trouble taking a day off away from three days off as well and moving it when there has been adequate coverage. The only time that you will see one day off is with the FX day. It allows them to cover a 7 in 7 with a month to month transition. One way to then move it is to get a trip with a 24+ hr sit with at least three days to the day off, then you can move it. I have done that plenty of times.

I understand when you input your request eCrew will weed out most of the illegal ones (It will tell you "Illegal grouping of days off"...).

Can we adjust our schedule to get more than 6 days off in a row? And I can maintain max 6 days on duty.

How about vacations? How can we trade/sell? Thanks for all the help, especially ACL, always there to help us newbies.

You can do vacation swaps with the pot. I have had success with that.
You can also do pilot to pilot swaps on the board.
