I Really appreciate so many great opinions on this particular thread not personal bashing, politics or attitude. I've learned a lot from all the responses thank you. I'm going to take into consideration all of them before I cast my vote. I've talk to the union reps, i've been to the dog and pony show and I'm wavering however I will make a decision soon. Thanks you for your input

Just know the sky is not falling. This TA is still the worst in the industry. If you vote it in, you will only get farther and farther from it over the next 4 years. Mesa is not public and can hide all the money they make and still make it seem like they are on the verge of going under. Remember JO has money to lobby against the 1500 hour rule. JO has done this for years by claiming how poor Mesa was and that you have to be the bottom feeder to survive. I wish I could explain everything he has done to drain money into his own bank account from Mesa but I would need a 4 day trip with you. Couple are the Maintenance parts scam he had and the Del Rio hotel he made Mesa use just to name two. Vote based on what you think you should get, not your fear.

Exactly. Like I said, JO likes to make it seem like Mesa will go under so he can get you to vote yes on whatever he offers you. You are right though. I don't think Mesa will ever die...

The pay rates aren't that bad if you consider the removal of soft pay/base pay. Other than that the TA is not really what I wanted. We could have improvements in; insurance, medical reimbursement, better defined hotel language, commuter hotels, 12 days off guaranteed, duty rigs, at least 75% DH, 1.90 per diem, international override pay, and I could go on and on.

To all the Mesa peeps that have a say in this vote. You should vote for you and your pilot group and not listen to all the keyboard commandos out there. If it is the best you think ( and the negotiators think) you can get then vote it in. If not, vote it down. worst thing that happens is you shut your doors and you now actually have priority hiring at all alpa Carriers. Something you obviously don't have now. Look at it as a Mesa Flow thru agreement. Personally i think AA and United did the math and came up with numbers that would be the break even for them. This is how much we will give for new contract, if it passes great, it's still cheaper than the alternative of letting mesa die a slow death and cancel flights for no crew to fly them. If it fails, United simply pull the 175's Mesa doesn't own and gives them to Skywest or Republic. Mesa Mainline becomes newly minted CRJ FO's ( 75% of them are too junior to hold CRJ captain) and staffing problem is fixed. Mesa AA planes are staffed and the CRJ 700's in IAD are now staffed as well. Good luck... Still say the best vote you can do is vote with your feet...Leave before the mushroom cloud gets too big...
