Default SDF/DFW Domicile

May 30 class date, trying to decide between DFW and SDF. DFW has a few non-stops (approx 3 hr flights) and SDF is a 4 hr drive. I'm assuming (based on other threads) that I would have immediate line (or minimal reserve time at either, pls correct if my assumption is wrong)

Are SDF schedules typical of shared domicile/mx bases (i.e. super early starts and late ends)? Also, what does a typical line look like for both?

All trips at SDF this month start at either 5:48 or 7:40 am and all end at either 9:48 or 11:40 pm. Not a commutable base at all. DFW is the better option for a commuting.

PHX vs DFW

For a new hire FO who has never lived in either city which would be the better city to be based and live in?

And, which base would it be easier to stack the roster to accumulate consecutive days off?

Cheers

1. Whichever one is closer to where you live.
2. Neither currently.

Looks like generally 12-13 off unstacked with credit lines around 100 hours. No reserve lines.
