Seriously thinking about Mesa
The biggest factor about Mesa for me is home base. I live under an hour from IAD. Are they still short of FO's out of IAD? How quickly from submitting app to flying the line is it at Mesa? I've heard horror stories on this forum about people waiting months after ground school. Also, is it getting better at Mesa? They used to be the bottom of the barrel but from what I can see, pay and union contracts are getting better. I'm new at this part 121 thing and trying to do as much research as possible. Form what I can see on Flight Aware, the legs out of IAD don't seem to be that bad. Any insight would be very much appreciated.

As for CRJ training, it’s 4 months from Indoc to IOE.

Mesa is a great regional. Don't listen to people ***** and complain about life here and their QOL (quality of life issues). FO's at Mesa hold a line out of IOE. If you want to fly, and hopefully you do because why else be a pilot, you can get 100 hours at month no problems. The trips getting mundane. However, i would rather deal with the mundanes of flying then some desk job. APPLY and Call pilot recruiting.
