Compass flying in PHX is all Delta. It’s basically an out station base.

Not according to AA and their route map. AA signed a CPA to operate the Ejet out of PHX.

I don’t see any AA routes out of PHX on the Compass route map. My friends at Compass have confirmed that they are currently only doing DL flying out of PHX. The Compass PHX pilots don’t even get AA flight benefits.

Do you have a reference for E175 Compass CPA in PHX?

Forced upgrade to the 145 in LGA to sit on reserve for years when most people chose envoy for DFW is a good place to start.

Or how about if you are young you get last choice of aircraft and base which means you could in theory get the CRJ which has no Dallas base and be seatlocked until, I believe, said forced upgrade effectively not seeing a Dallas base for half a decade of not more when again you picked the company for a Dallas base.

You don’t have to pay back a signing bonus at Envoy?

Currently a crj fo with Envoy, sitting at 700 hours sic. I live in Phoenix and am already sick of commuting to ord and am fearful of where I may end up once I upgrade. In addition I don’t like the writing on the wall over here and honestly think AA is a crappy parent to have.

Anyway I would appreciate any honest feedback you can give. I do know that Phx is more senior so I will most likely have a little bit of a wait and obviously lose my seniority, which is nice to have. How long are the upgrades taking now and are you as short on captains as Envoy?

Thanks
The Envoy flow will eventually drop to 5 years, while Mesa stands to reduce in size over that period as it cannot fill new hire classes.
