Default What is the latest with Mesa?

I am considering Mesa and would like to know if there are any good rumors out there that about anything positive in the future? Pay is pretty low, I mean the bonus helps first year, but that second year is not very enticing . Yeah, I doubt I have many other options so I don't really have much room to complain, but I would love to hear if there is anything that may give a little optimism about the choice.

Thanks

Nothing at the moment we are still waiting on all CRJs on the united side to get extend and I think 20 to 30 ejets are also expiring and need extensions. AA has pulled 2 crjs from service and 2 more in November. No new contract is even on the horizon. Probably no more 300% until spring when flying picks back up. No commuter hotels. Lowest pay alongside CommuteAir. We have Aviate...

Pulled from service to go somewhere else, or just parked for the winter?

Well that isn't as bad. I guess I am considering whether I should come to Mesa or maybe spend a year as PIC at Boutique and then see what happens. Are you at Mesa and what are your thoughts of the place?

AA has elected NOT to pull the 2 in November.

Info from the 10Q SEC filing.

You might be able to skip the regionals with flying PIC at boutique if you want to give ACMI a try. Springboard off the ACMI world and go to a major if you don't like it.

What is ACMI? That is true.. didn't think of that, although most majors may prefer 121 time. I don't have an ATP so I am not sure how that would work with going to a major without an ATP...

That would be ideal. I went to another regional that had a crap training program and failed my ATP on the first attempt and didn't get a second try. Out of my class of about a dozen, only 3 made it to the line. Pretty abysmal success rate. Hence why I am not really getting the pick of the litter at other regionals right now. ****ty too because before I chose the crap regional, I had offers from all the top ones (Endeavor, Republic, etc) but picked one that had a base close to me. Just a series of bad choices. At the end of the day, it's all my fault.
