I do feel relatively confident I could still get an offer at Mesa (and maybe some other places too, to be fair). Mesa has a base that isn't TOO far but not as close as some others that I have already received the "thanks but no thanks".
Apply everywhere, you wont know if you don't try. Although the better regionals know how crap GoJets training is, you still have to own up to why you didnt make it through and how it made you stronger and smarter going forward. Convince them that you will not fail again.

Most people have some sort of blemish in their past. It's more important how you move forward.

ACMI is 121 time. Southern is hiring with ATP mins. Their contract (with Atlas) is currently among the lower end in the ACMI world but they will eventually get a deal, and then it will be hard to get a job there, just like it’s hard at a Kalitta and Omni currently. Even with their old CBA it’s still better than any regional job.

I know people in a similar situation that sued them and filed Air21 type complaints of intentionally unfair checking events due to labor issues and had their failure removed from their records. It sounds like you were in a similar situation. I’d consult an aviation attorney, and tell him/her to request/subpoena union/company grievance settlement records for the same issues.

That’s right after the new 175s are getting delivered to UA. Might see some sort of slow down from that point.

But who will be flying them is the big question.

More intriguing is they didn’t just award it to XJT. Makes me think its not a slam dunk.. they are “UA” owned aircraft so my bet Mesa or Compass or XJT. Someone that typically doest but there own lately..
