How many commuter policies/hotels are you allotted at Mesa?
Welcome to recruitment practices. There are no hotels. And you get 4 commuter clause uses in a rolling 12 calendar months. Get out of jail cards basically. Still lose the pay. Still have to get to work ASAP.

They give you hotels during the busy seasons. 4 commuter clauses in 12 months. But seriously only scrubs need these. I sat reserve away from home for 1 month in IAD, but I was always notified of a trip well before my reserve period started. Month 2 and 3 I had a line. Now I live in base. Ive never had a trip that wasn’t commutable same day on both ends (start late and end early).

I do feel relatively confident I could still get an offer at Mesa (and maybe some other places too, to be fair). Mesa has a base that isn't TOO far but not as close as some others that I have already received the "thanks but no thanks".
Mesa will hire you as long as you have a pulse and are not 64 years and 364 days old. We had a couple of guys who failed out at PSA in our class, both excelled through the training, are doing great at the airline now. But like others have said, definitely apply everywhere, but know that Mesa shouldn’t be an end goal, or else you’ll be miserable, it’s very much a stepping stone. And if you live near DC, you’re golden, everyone gets IAD initially and they have that Aviate program thing which almost guarantees you a spot with United in a couple years.

I’m going to stop this AVIATE rumor of “almost guaranteed job at United”. It DOES NOT almost guarantee anything except a possible interview. Stop giving people false hopes. You still have to go thru the entire interview process just like anyone else. This program does nothing except get your application pulled from the stack. While that is a huge positive, don’t make this program out to be more than it truly is.

Company is still working on it. Company and Union have officially started negotiating pay rates for it.

Just saw in crewtrac where you view the cumulative time report there is an option for the 737 as your equipment.
