Any of you Senior dudes have insight on what's going on? Also with all these bonuses being thrown yeah it's nice but a pay increase is definitely due. My class was told we would most likely see something January/February But coming fron TSH i know to never believe a regional. Anways Happy New year all any cool pertinent info please share away!

The extra EJet sim isn’t going to be much help. Not enough instructors to fill all of the training slots for the existing sim. The new bonuses for instructors aren’t going to change anything. You have to commit to being a full time sim instructor for a year in order to get the bonus.

If the company was serious about having more sim instructors, they would stop paying 50 seat pay, commit to paying for instructor hotels in PHX, schedule more than 11days off each month, have the schedules out before the 28th of the month, etc.

Flapoverspeed is spot on. Most likely why the union sent out their email immediately after the company sent that out to the pilot group. Last I heard the only CRJ 200 is sitting in TUS with no engines. and the other sitting in the training center lobby.

pretty sure it’s more a hollow aluminum tube than an aircraft

Default Training timeline

What does the training timeline look like currently. I hear that you come in for one week, then get sent home for 2 or more months for sims to begin. I’m curious to see if I can take vacation from my current job, come in for a week and do the Indoc, and then keep working until mesa is ready for sims.

Does any one have an actual breakdown of the training schedule right now with the delays. How long do I actually need to be in PHX for before they send us home to wait for the rest of the training? Thanks.

Not one week. Academics are 4 weeks if you include ATP CTP. So it's ATP CTP / HR / Indoc / Security / Aircraft Systems the whole thing was 4 weeks for me. Started ATP CTP at CAE Phoenix on January 10 and completed systems on February 10.

E175 side:

ATP/CTP 1 week with a company like CAE or ATP Jets. This is when you take your written

Indoc/systems 2.5 weeks

--sent home with pay for weeks/months--

call back for:

1 day systems refresh and 8 days SIT systems integration training formerly FPT. So 9 days spread out over 15 calendar days ish.

--unknown/ constantly changing break time to wait for sim openings---

then 11 sims to include the checkride and LOFT training

Only silver lining is that right now there isnt a wait to get flying on IOE after sims

there is no points system for pilots. You must be a flight attendant. That explains a lot.

Depends. Some orals are delayed till just before the ride if you need the sim time to reach atp minimums.

Normally around FPT.
