I have mixed emotions. The CRJ gets a much better fuel burn so you can fly it at .77 and faster without guzzling the fuel. The E-Jet fuel burn is high above .75. The E-Jet is very comfortable though. Nice window shades, auto throttles and such. Truthfully I feel like I'm in a mainline aircraft in the E-Jet. But I'm not I know for you haters. The E-Jet is like a Rolls Royce and the CRJ is like a Corvette. It's the best way I can describe it in short.

Yes, the passengers come up to the flight deck all the time and tell me how comfortable this aircraft is. It's kind of weird though, with the larger aspect ratio of the E-Jet compared to the CRJ, I figured you can chop and drop. But this bird is slippery as hell. Plus no boards once you go to flaps 2.

Call me crazy, but I would consider hiring people with terrible backgrounds via text, skype, email, facebook and phone "difficulties filling entry level positions".

I think we could handle two dozen more planes in the near future without much trouble, after that recruiting might have to step up its game. In that GAO study in February, they stated that "11 of the 12 regional airlines we interviewed reported difficulties filling entry- level first-officer vacancies." I've been told Mesa was the 1 out of 12 that could.
As for that, I've heard vague reference to this, but can someone fill me in on the bad blood?
