Thanks for the rundown.
I moved out of my old place because all my roommate wanted to do was party. It got old real fast, especially when you had to be at the airport 6 a.m. the next morning. But because I didn't drink all the time with him or enjoy loud bass at 2 a.m., I was quickly dubbed "anti-social."
Sort of get the feeling airlines are the same way. You're almost expected to go out with people when sometimes all you want to do is go to your room and hit the pillow or call the wife. Does slam-clicker have a negative connotation and cut you off from the collective? Or is it no big deal?
A slam clicker is someone who doesn't do anything with the crew on overnights. They close their door (slam) and lock it. (Click)
Honestly, here I'm a slam clicker, I don't like to waste my money on beers with people I have already spent the entire day with.

I will jump in on this since I started it. I was told by a very senior captain that is friends with way upper management that Mesa is in negotations for 20 E-Jets out of DFW for AA. Knowing that I might bid back to the CRJ for the DFW base he told me to hold tight. I was also told to keep it zipped but **** the bed.

Any rumors if they're still trying to get more CRJs?
