yeah EJET went way senior vs the last bid, only 4 of the 10 are 2013 hires.
Lots of guys must have been holding out until after the holidays and/or wanted to go straight into holding a line.
Funny I see JM on the award, thought they weren't letting him upgrade.
Not to air out our dirty laundry but that guy is missing a few screws.
Tells me he's a captain as he's sitting in the crew room in an FO's uniform, heard he's been known to tell other people he's an undercover agent for the FBI.

50 bucks says he shows up in uniform with Captain's bars on his shoulders Day 1 of groundschool, and says "I'm initial cadre guys--just here to observe you FNGs."

There was another dulles nut that arrested someone as an FFDO. He's still floating around somewhere and i'm sure as an F.O.

There's another.
Says he got shot in Iraq and he also flies KC-135s in the Guard, of course neither are true.
Arrested a family at gunpoint at BWI. Don't think he's an FFDO anymore.
Backed up a state trooper on a traffic stop saying he was a federal officer.
Well at least we know ALPA is good at what they do since he's back online.

Sorry, I mean't RS4 goes Senior, not Junior. They have RS4 in CLT, and I think PHX. It varies from 1-4 guys in CLT on RS4. Lately just one. Also, in the Airways system they always have guys sitting ready reserve on the RS1 and RS3 shifts. Almost never do you get to sit at home. I heard it is rare to sit Ready in IAD in the United system. Lucky ducks... Probably a contract thing that Airways has requiring this...just a guess.

Ready reserve is indicated by a trip assignment with a pairing number. When you open the pairing it says R06, R08 or R10.

It's in LOA #4. Ready reserve is coded r8,10 or 12 and is not to exceed 12. The "r" number denotes hours on duty, and pays half flight credit until flying is assigned. They have been using r6 for the night shift in some bases, and avoid using r12 because it gives away a lot of credit for hours that they probably wouldn't use you.

Much appreciated. There was a discrepancy on my schedule that suggested ready reserve but it was still "RS3," that clears it up.
This is unrelated to the above question, but was there ever a letter of interpretation released?
Ha, no. I'm not going to stick up for anyone. Lots of you guys have been here a long time and that crap wears on you.
Just like skillet said, "The **** stinks everywhere." (all regionals) However, I still say this place is better than RAH.
As far as new 117 schedules go, I think everyone (RAH, 9E, OO, etc) is complaining. Is the company just screwing people over with implementing the new rules into the schedules? Or is this the best they can do with the new rules? I really don't know. Also, doesn't the union make the schedules with the company? Atleast that is how I thought they did it here.
The company has been pretty what I would consider, "unorthodox" with EJET program information. I flew with a guy the other day who just upgraded this last summer and will be going to the EJET as a Checkairman. He pestered them and pestered them, never really getting confirmation that he was a part of it other than the STL training notification from the training dept and his February vacation cancelled.
In regards to the whole putting guys on ready (airport, hot, whatever your airline calls it) reserve when they finish flying, I know after talking to the company, their response is "we are waiting for interpretation from the FAA." From an operational standpoint, as soon as they use a reserve, they can no longer return them to "normal, regular, home" (whatever you want to call it) reserve that day, so to keep them useful they are trying to pull this putting them on ready thing. They say it keeps you in the same FDP. I guess when the FAA says, "No that's not legal", they're guessing they'll get some sort of leeway with violations since 117 is new and vague to everyone.
ALPA's stance is they are also waiting for interpretation from the FAA and to fill out a grievance and an ASAP.
