The rumors I'm hearing from our union guys and from management friends are proven correct. You'll have career progression at Eagle that you'll never get elsewhere until other legacies copy AA.
A PSA style contract must be voted in first.

CLT showing a lot of +30 hour overnights... making your 4 day worth 16-18 hours, or your 3 day much much less. Some of us figure they were eliminating the RR nights to gear up for 117, but we still have a handful of standups (my personal favorite).

IAD, ORD, PHX crews, thoughts?
Exact same thing in Phoenix. Out of 93 four day trips, 60 of them have 30+ hour layovers. And many of the three day trips have them too.

Not a single reduced rest overnight the whole month. A few just over 9 hours though.

I thought the same thing, a 117 sort of trial run, but union says it is because we got the schedules from mainline late.

I hope this isn't what 117 looks like. I can't stand wasting my life in a hotel that long.

Hope you're right but rumors are just that, rumors. I've had enough happen at eagle in my short career to expect the worst and hold on.

Standups/CDOs are still legal in part 117. Do you guys have any TAFB rigs? 30hr overnights are often the most efficient (cost wise) if you can't do a shorter overnight; you may start seeing a few more of them .

No rigs of any kind... yet. They are a top priority in contract negotiations currently underway.

It will be very difficult for regional pilot groups to make gains in that department. However, I hope Mesa pilots have some success there as it can then trickle to other pilot groups.

OPS CHECK GUD - help us understand something. If they hire a mid January class for 175s. What would these newhires do until mid June when the first revenue flight takes off? I mean when would they be able to begin IOE? Doesn't a Mid Jan class seem way too early? Unless they want to get ahead of the game and don't mind guys sitting around for weeks waiting.

Check airman class starts Jan 7. I highly doubt there will be any new hire e175 classes in jan.
