Just a thought for those who want to move on.

PSA: Public Service Announcement
The PSA agreement is going to be changed into a flow becuase that is what AAG wants at all 3 of their wholly owned regionals. The pass rate in 2014 for PSA SSP pilots was 100%, I think one guy didn't get it in late 2013 because he didn't want it (long story). You are discussing a topic for which you have no idea about what is going on.

Slinging mud, eh? Nice.

I gave my two cents for those who might benefit from it. It was not directed at the PSA pilots specifically. I even defined what I meant by PSA and yet you still decided it was directed at PSA pilots. Wow.

I see that you must know everything about everybody, so I will now politely bow out of this.

You can give your opinion and give advice, that is fine. This is a Mesa thread and should stay that way, we both should have kept our PSA "opinions" on the PSA thread.

Good grief.

I guess I struck a nerve with you. I don't care one way or another about PSA. Just because you think I have something to say about PSA doesn't make it true. How do you know I wasn't thinking about Mesa pilots? Get a grip Dude, the world doesn't revolve around PSA pilots.

BTW, the initials "PSA" have more than one definition. Reading comprehension is apparently not your strong suit.

Also for some reason you cant recieve PM's so i will read your reply and your reply only to my question. Why would I go to Envoy where there actually is a 50 percent washout rate because the instructors there wont give kids a few extra sims to get through the training. I could have a guaranteed flow to american and be there in approximately 8 years worst case scenario. On the other hand i could go to mesa who has a 90 pass rate. I will have a good chance at getting through the training and getting on the line. Ill have a better chance getting through the training with mesa than i would have with any other airline. Mesa has a 2 or 3 year upgrade as far as i know at the moment. Ill be off reserve in a few months. I can bid dfw off ioe most likely. At eagle there were 2 fo's that came to the job fair that have been on reserve for more than 3 years. They are shrinking to 1500 pilots and 100 50 seater airframes. Or maybe its 50 50 seaters not sure. Mesa will put me in the crj900 that is not going anywhere for a while. Last i checked they might get more crj's from american and will be expanding and need more pilots. Once an envoy fo flows to american i will have roughly 6 thousand hours flight time. I know of at least 3 regional fo's personally that have gotten on with american with 6 thousand hours. I know of one more about to go when hiring resumes he will jump too. So why oh why would i go to eagle and be on reserve and flow to american or go to mesa with a good airframe an expanding airline with 76 seat airplanes and hold a line almost out the door if i will get to american around the same time as the envoy flowthrough fo? if you know something i dont please tell me. Because to the best of my knowledge i am making the right decision in my mind based on the current circumstances.
Where did you get that 90% mesa pass rate and 50 % Envoy pass rate?
So you are choosing your regional based on pass rates?

I agree with Navmode. why he shouldn't choose his job based on the passrate ? why you wouldn't do so for yourself ?
if there are some arrogant instructors in another airline who won't give you a few extra sim sessions why to go there ?

You should be happy the interview consisted of a phone call, not an email.

I am really happy that the interview was with an easy going guy and not with an arrogant like you.. instead of criticizing the others to kill your time you could do more interesting things like helping and advising people. I wish I will never fly with you
