Then we would be understaffed like the flight attendants and they can't jerk us around like they can them bc of 117 rules. Look how much your seniority number has risen since you were hired. Imagine if they stopped hiring. We would be hosed after a few months. And, our attrition will only increase as more people quit for greener pastures, and if and when we announce new flying, if they aren't pumping pilots through now, we will be stuck canceling flights due to staffing shortages, not get any new contracts, and shrink the company. That would be good for no one. So while I had a month that I flew only 1 short leg when i first got on rsv, I don't really care.

Plus, we are hemorraghing FOs. 6 have quit from my class after IOE so far.
I don't think all the regionals that announced new flying in the last year will be able to staff it all. But if we are overstaffed, and psa (or whomever) cancels flights bc of staffing, guess who DP will call to fly it if we can show we have excess pilots?

You should go to PSA, though. That will help my seniority. And you'll get a quick upgrade and their contract is way better than ours.

6! Where did they go? Do they plan on paying Mesa for the training or nah?

Haha, that Mesa training contract is worth the TP its written on. Back in the day Mesa would have FOs quitting on overnights to go to other regionals just to screw JO hard as they could.

FO attrition is nothi g new at Mesa and is something they will always deal with.
