I'd guess half of your attrition is people finding a better spot, the other half is people that don't belong in a 121 cockpit.

Your attrition? What attrition? So now you're chastising those who got you through and doing so on the way out. I guess you've set the bar and know exactly where every other pilot should be? I take it, you ran over to PSA and helped them set that bar when you got in that door.

Statements were based on fact.

Yes. Mesa's insurance is the worst. For you plus family, consider it to be $500/mo. More than 'typical' employee sponsored coverage.

Yes. No uniform allowance is a joke. For them to have the gall to nit pick employees about appearance is hypocritical. Hey but they offer a payroll deduction program.., oh well, that's all better huh?

Yes. Pay sucks at the regional level. CX pay is huge for those considering republic/gojet.

No. Mesa doesn't have the same flight benefits, very expensive for what you get. If it's just you jumpseating, oh well there you go.

Agree, basing is not anything to fixate on. You can take a chance on this one.

Some of these issues get overlooked by prospective employees until you're already signed up. I found Mesa initial to be easy and well organized. The 1st AQP, was a much different atmosphere, it was fine but much more demanding than anything I experienced in initial, the CA was lucky to keep his spot is all Ill say. Kudos to the AQP instructors for drawing a line in the sand.

Moot point.
Honestly if you want better flight benefits you should quit the regionals and go get a non flying position at mainline.

It was an hour and a half of JO not confirming or denying any rumors. Funny hearing flight attendants and mechanics call in and start with "I heard from a pilot" lol sounds like he's very confident we'll get more flying and has a personal goal of doubling the fleet in 5 years.

Did he discuss how he plans on staffing that many airplanes when the majors open the floodgates?

The age 65 rule caught up to us 2 years ago... I'm not convinced there will be any sort of hiring free-for-all.

That's what I got out of it too...

Sounds confident we are going to be doing business with Delta again.

Also we remain the #1 on-time UAX feed, sounded very confident we would be the ones to get the 2nd batch of 30 E175s.

Working on another 7-10 CRJ900s with american. CRJS remain priority over E175s with business w/ American.
