Really? Interesting. I know your sources are pretty accurate, Prior because I think I know who it is/they are. I'm wondering how long the company is going to be able to block CA CRJ to CA EJet seat moves. Right now I'd be more than happy to commute to IAH to fly that thing and stay in the United system and not have to go into the DFW mess and fly in the US/AA system.
As a 700 CA I like the plane, the flying and folks I work with, why not have fun on a "new plane"? Good credit trips, hold a line, what's not to like? I guess they will argue that more CRJs mean that letting folks change CA-CA between platforms will somehow be cost inefficient...until they have to start cancelling for crew. "PPPPPP".

That's exciting, does this possibly mean they will start putting in guys with no 121 experience?

More 175's would be nice. I'd think AA but who knows. It'd be nice if they finally let Captains switch equipment. Did we ever find out what happened to the one Captain who downgraded with the intent of re-upgrading on the Ejet?
Also, there's a film crew on the Phoenix ramp today. They're filming a recruitment video. Look your best.
