Actually, it used to be 5 years for a termination/failed training to fall off your record. Effective I think Nov. 1st, 2010 any termination/certificate action/failure can technically follow you until you die.

Let this be an example to the new hires--your groundschool and first year on the line is most definitely still part of the hiring process. This is true at every airline, whether it's a legacy or a regional.

My policy has always been that I don't want the chief pilot to know or hear my name--at all--in my first year at an airline (if not for the rest of my career). Show up to work, fly the plane, and get through your first year--leave your personality, issues, and emotions at home. And stay miles and miles away from flight attendants on overnights and ESPECIALLY in groundschool.

I can understand why Mesa might just be a little more concerned than some carriers about pilots sleeping on duty

This isn't the first time. Never forget the great 'throwing of lawn furniture into the pool' of 2013.

I am glad that my potential career possibly being destroyed gave you such entertainment.

If this is Sam or Tony. And it most likely is since you are the only 2 that are smart enough to make a false claim as this. I hope you enjoy flying for this airline. This just goes to show mesa's true colors.

Look I wasn't there my friend, but I find it extremely hard to believe that you were fired for putting you head in your hands on a break. I think anyone hearing this would as well. I would highly suggest you rethink your explanation because no person interviewing you for a job is ever going to buy it either.

The fact your classmates are coming forward and publicly stating you were doing much more kind of seals the deal.

Grow from this and become a better person, or don't. Stop trying to blame everyone but yourself though.
