I wouldn't be too terribly surprised if AA does away with a lot of the PHX regional feed. Most of those routes can be covered from LAX and DFW. But who knows what mainline will end up doing, because ultimately AA HQ calls the shots.

I wouldn't be surprised if guys weren't being put in DFW by default at this point.

Does anyone know what radar is on board the CRJ? I'm ordering a radar course from an expert on weather radar, and he will provide material specific to the type of radar I fly. I know the CRJ has the Rockwell Collins, but does anyone happen to know which model?

Of all things to buy a course for, don't waste your time on one for weather radar. They're all essentially the same, and you'll learn how to use it in 5 minutes.

It sounds dumb, but I've flown with guys who've learned from this guy. It's worth it, based on what I've learned from them.

Tilt up 5 degrees on the ground, adjust tilt down as you climb down to 0 to -1 at cruise, adjust gain as necessary. There's also a good chance the pilot sitting next to you has a good idea on how to use it. Save your money.
