If UAL parks Skywest 700's I'm sure they will find someone to fly them for, pretty sure they would immediately call Alaska and have then repainted within a couple months

Me either! But it is the flying they have been doing for a long long time. For someone to act like it is just awful that they are trying to keep it from being lost to new guy on the street, further demeaning the Envoy pilots, shows a lack of class.

Envoy is just another regional and it's AAG's flying, not yours, don't forget that.
How about the CLT MAG pilots losing all "their" CLT flying to PSA. How about all the PHX MAG pilots losing their dash and CRJ flying in PHX?
None of us regional guys have anymore right to this flying than the next regional guy.
It's how the cookie crumbles at the Regional level. Get in, get your time, and GTFO.

Hah, ENY is a contractor on the AA code, just like MAG, RAH, PSA, etc. The beauty of having a portfolio of contractors is that they aren't entitled to anything that isn't spelled out in the CPA, and I'm pretty sure AAG management did not indicate exactly which routes it's contractors would fly, kinda defeats the purpose of the portfolio (read: whipsaw). ENY doesn't own jack!

Our COO just hinted at 37 CRJ200s for delta. Bases would be DTW and JFK.

No, what'll be good for the industry is the flying returning to the mainline. Let's face it, no one regional is much better than the other when you get right down to it. It's the same wh%re in a different dress. When you aren't flying your own code and living off of successful RFP's then you are a bottom feeder.
