Wow, I just got the story on facebitten's firing, and wow. Just wow. It has nothing to do with napping and I'm going to leave it at that. Dude, stop posting for your sake.

Come on, you can't just leave us all in the dark. I feel like I'm watching a trashy reality show and I can't turn the darn thing off....

Professionals do not follow FA's back to their rooms. STOP POSTING. How dumb are you?!?! Like really! I've never seen someone continue to dig their hole deeper and deeper. You aren't an airline pilot so posting your name means nothing to me. Your John Doe moron who obviously has issues with females- after a quick glance at your facebook posts... should I continue or are you done?

sorry i am late to the party. Treat those how you would like to be treated. Weather he was in the right or in the wrong every one makes mistakes. By no mean do i condone that kind of behavior. I believe that if we pilots want to be treated as professionals we have to be professionals. We also have to help each other. Every one makes mistakes and i am sure that he feels terrible about what happened. Its going to be hard enough to explain this in a future interview weather it was sleeping in class or something more. Hopefully it does not get him blacklisted in the regionals. Only the top 30% ***hole people in aviation deserve that. Point is we all make mistakes. *hit happens. As funny as these comments are how throughly entertaining it can be, I would implore everyone to lay off that guy for his sake and yours. I would hate to be in his shoes and then have to read all the comments on here. Plus it sheds a bad light on the pilot group and especially on the particular person posting . We are all pilots and all have similar goals and ambitions of getting on with the regional and then majors. With that said mabe give the kid some helpful advice as to how to move forward after this. Put your self in your shoes and still trying to make a dream happen.
-Get some career counseling, a better attitude, and move on.
-If in fact you were given a raw deal ( or unjustly treated) Your not the only that this is happened to in the industry..... Trust me..... but you lick your wounds, take the positives out of the experience, make what ever personality adjustments you may need to make for yourself and move on.....you F up, Fess up, move on.
- We don't do this for the money. I just left a job that promoted me from roughneck to a supervisor position making 120k a year in the oil field. Paid my debt off and am back to fly. We do it for the love of flying not the pay check.
- Lastly everyone knows everyone in the aviation industry. It is a small world in the management department. Dont give your family or yourself a bad name.
- Go to http://www.airlinepilotforums.com and search your last name and see what comes up... Guess what you can't get that deleted and employers will search this.
-Your not going to gain any thing or make any progress talking about it on here.
- prior 121 i will buy u some lasik for your eyes... sorry lol

- If you want big money quick and a 2 week on 2 week off schedule go to the oil field, but you will never complain about a flying job again.
-The majority of the people that you will work with have been to prison once or twice a few even killed a person or 3.
- if you love the smell of jet fuel, ur in luck... you get covered head to toe in oil based mud (diesel fuel) daily and boy does that stuff burn when it gets on your nuts.
-Freezing rain, or 120 degree Texas heat you are still pulling a 16-18 hr shift.
- Your more than likely to loose a limb or at least a finger in the first six months.
- Your bathroom is taking a leak down the hole on to the BOP Stack
- Learn to swim cause you will eventually have to drain that BOP ( Blow out prevention stack) and you will be swimming in the "cellar" =12 feet of oil base mud, diesel, barite, costic, your and your co workers urion, dead rats and live snakes. You will be lucky not to get a staff infection.
- Its cheeper for the company to kill you than for you to get injured. If you call in sick your mostly likely going to be fired for a ("safety violation")
Oil Field could serve as a great attitude readjustment boot camp
PS: Watch out for the Flash floods. We had 5 guys killed in Aug- sept 2014 cause the rig was in a "flood zone"
That said the job can be fun but join at your own risk....

It's time for him to do some damage control and never log on to a forum again. Between being let go from a 121 carrier and his checkride failures it's safe to say that he may not see a 121 cockpit for a long time if ever. If you're reading this I hope you do some serious soul searching.
