Okay so I just finished IOE last week. (DFW based) and just got a call saying I was given a line for the entire month. I'm confused. I just looked on crew web and sure enough a line for all of this month.

Probably for consolidation purposes. Happened to everyone in my class. Some guys got a line assigned for a whole month while the rest of us being the majority got trips assigned weekly or so.
Once consolidated, assume your flying will drop off significantly till you get a line.

Quite to the contrary good sir. I base my choice on a number of factors. Every one has their own opinion and choices to make. I chose mesa for both the quick up grade time and the fact that I have residence in two of their bases = QOL. It just works out better for me and i am willing to forgo some pay for the convince. Thats all.
