We can throw around made-up stats all we want--hiring is a complicated selection process that has nothing to do with the name of your crappy regional. There is not a filter option at United HR that says "search for all the Acey FOs, filter out Mesa pilots."
It doesn't matter about EEO/military/degree. Everyone knows you have to have a degree to move on to a major. So your argument is it doesn't matter if they are military or have a degree even if that makes them more competitive.

Okay sweetheart. Keep up the one line idiocy.

It's not logic. It is fact. Expressjet publishes their numbers for public comsumption so it is no secret.

I didn't say there was and I couldn't care less what the breakdown of Acey FOs is. Someone said that large numbers of Envoy and Xjet FOs are being hired elsewhere. This is a true statement. Some troll came on with "no they are not". I was just arguing with a troll. On the internet. Damn it.

Sorry not giving up my left seat for a few extra bucks when every legacy in America is going to be hiring like crazy for the next decade.

Note: I would gladly give up my left seat and push for an industry-leading contract if there were significant, binding flow commitments made by ALPA national and our legacy partners to ensure all regional pilots would eventually have a seniority number at mainline.

Until that happens, I have no incentive to price Mesa out of business and lose my left seat.

His company only dragged down the industry for 17 years. Knowledge is power!

When I went to TSA, the only regionals with better contracts were XJT, SKW, WIS, and Eagle. Two of them areessentially collapsing and skywest/Wisconsin weren't hiring.

Your insult means a lot coming from the one airline created to completely circumvent the collective bargaining of another pilot group.

Hey, wanna know a funny story? This one time, I read this thing you posted, and I didn't use my brain. I genuinely thought you said that FO's were being /hired at/ Envoy and ExpressJet, but you said /hired from/. Then I thought you were defending that, but again, I didn't brain.

TLDR; Sorry, carry on, and you're absolutely right. My reading was bad and I feel bad.
