And so does Mesa. We sat there for three hours yesterday waiting on our own maintenance to show up. Apparently the entire CRJ fleet was grounded due to an AD for a lav inspection. Either there was an emergency AD issued or somebody really dropped the ball on that one.

Anyone care to take a guess when UAL is going to award those additional 28-30 E175s?

I would like to see us get them so that the quick upgrades continue. Who knows...

Last week I heard it was likely going to be announced this week, but they're running out of time on that one :-) In the last conference call I remember JO saying he hoped to hear in the next 90 days. Not sure if that was updated at the DFW meeting.

It was said definitely NOT ORD or IAH. Very possibly LAX, DEN or IAD. My fingers are crossed for DEN.

Long-time lurker, first time poster. I had my phone interview earlier today. It ended with the recruiter saying "we will get back to you next week with an answer." Seeing as people were being offered jobs on the spot after the phone interview, is this bad news for me?

Well, only you would know if there was something in your app/background that they need to run up the flag pole. If there isn't anything, then it's probably just an internal organization thing like they don't know which class to put you in just yet, or whether you need to go for a sim eval first, or whatever it is that's going on right now.

In order to add more E175s than they have already announced, United would have to:

A) Add a small narrowbody at mainline (E190 or Cseries), or
B) Get rid of some 70 seat aircraft
