They said the last two classes were full, so 20-30.

So Been here at Mesa since March. So far very impressed with the training and the company in general. Our ground instructor was CT. Awsome and very knolodagble instructor. Getting ready to start FPT training and sims are going to be toronto or YYV (crj crews) Any way we asked JO about the pay and yes he went in to the "capitan upgrade speach" Which is true. Alot quicker upgrade than most regionals but is more of an excuse to pay 1st year FOs our min wage. during training my checks are $712. I would make more on unemplyment this year than flying these jets. Recieved an Email from the company telling us to refer our friends to fly for mesa. Honestly if they want us to do this they need to offer a 1-3k bonous for each person that we reffer and gets hired paid to the pilot on first day of the reffereds indoc. Give us ways to "earn" more pay. Untill then I am not going to recomend mesa to friends or other pilots simply because the pay is way to low for the equipment we are flying. I am much more intrested in helping fixing this problem than prolonging it. So looks like i will be TDYing it as much as I can this year and going in to more debt. This company has great moral solid growth, great training. The only huge negative that I have seen so far is the pay. And it needs to be addressed. I talked to a union rep about this and I recieved the impression that not much is being done about it. It almost did not even sound like it was a concern to the union which is a little troubling to me.

yes we felt the same way but if we buy envoy then it may be possible. I ran some numbers on the computer and seems like a relistic goal. Supossly we are very close to buying another opperator. Strong rumor is envoy. that woud be hell combining that senority list.

Why for the CRJ? Most CRJ Fos are upgraining on the Ejet which tells me that their are plenty in line to upgrade on the CRJ not needing street capitans. or am I missing something?

Lol no denver base sadly. Comming from JO him self. We would have to take over a lot of skywest flying to justify that. Also comming from Opps

JO said he is in talks to buy a smaller 135 operator. He is not interested in acquiring another 121 regional at this time.

Don't forget that you chose to come here and make what you make. I was actually able to save money on first year pay.

750's are just fine. Fairly quiet airplane once you turn the avionics fans to Stby
