CRJ9 - DFW Junior Captain Upgrade DOH 10/30/2014 #934
E175 - IAH Junior Captain Upgrade DOH 05/15/2014 #757
177 number Seniority Split between the two fleets. I think a lot of guys are holding out for the EJET. A 7 month upgrade on the CRJ9 in Dallas.

The training here is great. Be ready for a lot of hard work and dedication and you'll do fine. The instructors have been more than willing to help guys get through training. Good luck.

This is going to be an interesting year. We should be able to staff the remaining new aircraft deliveries with the people on property/in the pipeline, but even the tiniest uptick in attrition at any point this year is going to drive upgrade to the street.
This vacancy clearly shows that we're past the tipping point--upgrade time has gone well below the time it takes a fresh AllATPs/Riddle grad to accrue their 1,000 hours. I hope they have that street Captain syllabus ready!!!

Any more rumors as of late? I keep hearing Phoenix is shrinking down to 40 lines. What other good ones are going around. Also wanted to bump the thread because I'm sick of the other Mesa thread.

PHX is shrinking now. 51 reserves for April by my count and no vacancies or backfills for upgrades. As to why, my guess is that Compass will start to take over the LAX flying in April.

VP is saying DFW will have 1000 pilots alone, as the CLT and some of the PHX planes head to DFW. Along with the other new 900s that start coming on property in the fall.
I'm worried guys. This is a lot of growth. Should be hearing about street CAs anyday.

I have no idea who they plan on being FOs their is no way I would stay at this company trapped in the right seat. We have plenty of new guys who can pack up and leave no problem.

"Engine trouble" - that could mean a lot of things. Probably a caution rather than a high vibration or failure scenario.

The E175 pays less than the CRJ900 even though they are both RJs of the same weight? The lessor paying jet with only one domicile to choose from is more senior? why?
