Lets just say character issues. Mesa could have chosen a good person to represent their objective. If he hasn't shown his true colors yet, he will. I think he was hired last summer. Many who know him, stay a long distance away.
There was a reason why he interviewed at Skywest twice and was turned down each time. Too many there knew him.

They're talking about the guy who's walking through a narrow hallway with the fa that's all smiley. He was a b99 guy.. He's not a bad guy, just kind of a "bro".

If you can judge someone's character on a van ride then good on you. He is a notorious smoozer.
Making an appearance like that makes you fair game in social media. Like it or not.
Of the 450 + FOs at Mesa I am surprised on one level, but not on another that he was used. Like I said, some will find out in time. When you burn enough bridges to be turned down twice in this environment with ANY regional this should be telling. He was hired with Mesa by app alone. Not much of a vetting process.
A very charismatic individual who fools some, but not others. Watch your wallets!

God. Get a life. Who cares. Show up on time, fly the plane, go home. If your life is so devoid of stimulation and interest that you're evaluating the merits of people included in the low-paid regional airline pilot recruiting vid, you should probably be seeing a therapist. Not joking--at a minimum, you should find a hobby and/or get a life outside of this silly, easy job that a monkey could do with a few extra sim sessions.
