I didn't think it was possible to come up with a crappier mount than that Delkin mount. I was wrong. Well played, Delkin. Well played.
Count me as a "me too" in the chorus complaining about the approved iPad mount. Be careful what you ask for, though; the RAM mount is twice as expensive.

And I'm not voting for any TA that has vacation and sick pay based on CRJ 200 rates.

-1/2 pay for deadheads
-Arbitrary reserve buffers
-Unpaid-for KCM
-Stupidly low pay rates
-Lack of min day
And can we get something in there about minimum hotel quality? Microtel ain't cutting it.

You think the Microtels are bad... I guess you've never stayed in the LaQuinta BDL... or Best Western CLT.....

I can tell you right now that changing reserve buffers, as well as day/duty rigs won't happen, period. As for stupidly low pay rates: did you already forget that you signed up to work here at the published rates? I'm not saying they won't improve at all, but dont expect leaps and bounds. If you're holding out for a sunshine and rainbow ta that will set the new standard for the regional industry, you're fooling yourself, and leaving money on the table in the meantime.

Not a company cheerleader, but it's like ornstein said in the company call: 'we can not afford to give everyone 10% raises'. I'm not saying take his word for it, but the Alpa account auditors came to the same conclusion. The company only makes 1-2% of the profit from flights; we're not subsidized by a parent company like ENY. Even AAG recognizes it's feeders as a cost center. Mesa is profitable but if you notice, we have two spares between Phx and dfw. Isn't that crazy? Any airplanes we have acquired recently are either owned by Somone else, or paid for by the new flying they operate.
So I respectfully ask you, how am I wrong? Call your MEC rep and ask them to give you the bullet points from the last conference call, they'll tell you more or less the same thing I'm saying.
