The baby boom generation is from 1946 to 1964. So yes they are, the tail end of it but yes they are. The influence of that horrible generation will carry on for a long time.

Millenials are mostly the grandchildren of the baby boomers.

Exactly. Blaming millennial's on the baby boomer generation is a stretch.

Many millenials are the later children of baby boomer fathers usually on their 3rd or 4th wife. And since so many boomer fathers screwed up with the first batch of kids through divorces and whatnot the millenials have been doted on their whole lives. This is not meant to bash millenials.

I'll buy this. In addition: Gen X is too small to have produced the glut of millennials. Mathematically there has to be a huge Baby Boomer parent component - and there is.

What you describe is a very small minority--unless we're just talking airline pilot fathers. 😁

Also, those 3rd and 4th wives are most certainly Gen X'ers or part of the "baby boom echo" of the 1950s. Most boomer mothers stopped having kids in the late 1980s, which could account for only the earliest of millenial children. The baby boom itself refers to the glut of babies immediately post-WWII. The term applies to no one born in the 1960s.

By and large, parents of the vast majority of millenials were born in the 1960s or early 1970s.

All the current SKW planes in phx are leaving. The 900s are going into the delta system and the 200s are getting parked. All the current eagle 200s in LAX flown by SKW are coming to PHX to replace the current planes here. Net loss of 1 plane I think. Also, apparently, their 900s were never supposed to be here anyway, but I don't know the full story so I'll let a SKW guy chime in if they care to. Source: SKW buddy. Nothing to see here (and certainly not news...this has been discussed on the SKW thread for a while). Just more shuffling of flying with the merger.

This Gen X/Gen Y/millennial discussion is ridiculous. Some of you appear to not even know the correct timeframes associated with each generation. Whiners and lazy people have existed forever. People blaming younger generations for being worthless has occurred for a long time and will in the future. Let's get back on topic of Mesa and take the generational debate elsewhere...its wasting Internet electrons.
