If the Mesa haters can actually read words instead of numbers, maybe they can actually learn something about the contract.

Is this flame bait or are you really expressing that you want to fly the EJET?

Personally the CRJ is more fun to fly.
But that's just me.

Have you flown both? Just curious, why is the CRJ more fun? I flew the 145 and liked it better than the CRJ, sorta liked the ERJ yoke.

Add Auto throttles and VNAV into the mix and it takes a lot of pilot work out of it. Flying an arrival with speeds is as simple as setting the lowest altitude and watching it fly all the altitudes and speeds.

It flies like a big bus. Just not as sports car like as the CRJ. But to each their own.

Ah ha! Yes, I can see that. I forgot about auto-throttles on that thing. Speed control is the only skill that hasn't atrophied since I've left the turbo-prop. Guess it'll be bye bye to that one too some day.

This may seem like a silly post, but is there more leg-room in the 175? I feel like to recline in the CRJ I have to put the seat all the way forward, and sacrifice all my leg room. If I wan't leg room I have to put the chair back strait up. (a bit overstated to make the point). I'm only 5,11. Don't know how these 6,4 guys do it.

The dash and the ERJ were both WAY more comfortable on a 2+ hour leg, or any leg really.

Then again, at $38/hour, maybe I'm just never happy

But for $92.00 an hour I'd sit up there backwards in a strait-jacket! - I'm Kidding Tony!

Not that I'm trying to correct you, because I know it's worded that way.. Just clarifying because true cancellation pay would mean a daily guarentee, and would add to your hours flown for the month. That subtlety could be confusing to someone who doesn't understand the difference.
