Any word on when or if new hires will be hired on to the E175 at Mesa? Realistically is the upgrade going to be sub 2 years? Was talking to a CFI this morning at my local FBO who was saying he had a class date for the E175 with Mesa and that he'd be upgrading in 18 months...the guy was a bit full of it and only had a restricted ATP.

The largest plane I flew before the whale was the CRJ-900 at Mesa. I was hired into the Classic (-200) at Kalitta and we had to do a PIC type. We had to know every switch on the FE panel along with all the stuff up front
.. It wasn't that bad really, it just took LOTS of studying. Then I had to do it all over again 14 months later when I got displaced to the -400. The whale is really pretty easy to land. Occasionally you will thunder one on
