Let's get one thing straight. You management/recruiter types are messing with people's lives. You lie about the quick upgrade, you lie about the benefits, and now you are lying about a rumor that we will start hiring street captains. Some good people save up there money for this job, because they can't raise a family on $20,000/yr. Have you no shame. What I am doing, and others too, is calling you out. If you future Mesa pilot prospects want to know the truth, PM a few guys on here, they will tell you the truth. Management/recruiter type have only one tool left to get you in the door, and suffer making that $20,000, awful benefits, crap hotels and even worse work rules, and that is LYING to you. Do your research. Peace out. And you my sir drank more Koolaid then anyone.

And that's another thing, aside from pay our overnight hotels are the worst part of working here. You will feel safer not wearing a condom with a random off tinder than sleeping in the buff at some of these nasty places. Not even kidding.

Don't be so hasty to take iFlyRC's advice. I think he has good intentions but he comes off as a company koolaid drinker. It's not horrible here on CA pay but you should definitely look elsewhere before coming here. If I lived close to IAD I'd look into this place:

CommutAir

Which is pretty much exactly what I have been saying but if I don't say it in a nice way then everyone gets their panties in a wad.

Well theoretically you do if you participate in the referral bonus program, which I do NOT condone people doing. In fact I wish they would publish a list of who has participated in the referral program so we know who is still trying to sell this place.

Iflyrc is not fibbing about the potential to upgrade in iad, iad is very junior for captains and will stay that way. The only reason they didn't fulfill the upgrades in Dallas and Phoenix is because it would have sucked more captains out of Dulles. Not right to manipulate our upgrades like that, mind you.
