New Mesa Thread

We're still debating this? It's a clear NO. As someone who usually bids RSV CML voluntarily, these new RSV rules are worse than our current contract.

On a different note. If you go the the skynet.ual.com website and log in using your N number. Then search employee benefits, select your cellphone carrier from the list, look for the link current subscriber, enter in your phone number, then use your [email protected] email address, you can get a 20-22 percent discount. Ive been getting it for years. 22 percent with ATT. Seems like no one knows or passes it along. If you go to Mesa's website, it is only 8 percent. So here you go.

I agree this TA has major shortcomings. But before I jump on the burn it down bandwagon I think there needs to be a sober discussion about where we go from here and what can realistically be obtained after another 2 or 3 years of negotiations. There are some good things like dropping reserve days and aggressive open time pick up for reserves. Do we want to throw it all out for several more years of status quo? -That is a rhetorical question, I'm not advocating one way or the other. Either way we have several more weeks until a vote. If you've already made up your mind that's great, but it doesn't mean the discussion is over. I admit I was pretty depressed when I saw this TA but maybe it's just because of the reality of our situation. Like someone else said we aren't Delta.

I work at Mesa. I worked at Republic also. I voted no on that contract and I'll vote no on this one. I will not be directly responsible for pilots having 2003 rates in 2019. These wages are a joke. I would rather see the airline go under then see guys stuck at 9 year FO pay making under 40k.. Yes there are lots of Captains that put in time. Well it's a two way street. Don't do the company any favors. The language in this TA is terrible also.

Well, last amended 2008. But the truth is, we aren't gaining much by passing it. The pilots in the future will hopefully have better leverage to get better rates than this. But these rates are worse than every regional in the industry. They are lower than republics expired contract rates. These are truths.
