Don't give up, keep building experience, and if you have training failures, build as much distance away from them as possible by not having any more. Go to a job fair, and network. Invest in an interview prep service, it'll be the best money you ever spent. Try to pick a place that other people don't want to go to yet. Once the flood of regional pilots discover a place is decent, its too late.

The following smug comment was made by user giggity37 on January 26th, 2016:
I know I'm regretting my decision everyday. I could still be on reserve and have my promised flow. All I have now is 4 bars and a awesome schedule. But seriously let us know how it is in 6 months. You "might" change your tune. Good luck I hope it works out.

giggity37 left Envoy for Mesa-I'll give you a moment to stop laughing..go ahead, I'll wait-then proceeded act like he made the best decision ever. And when I left Mesa for Envoy, he made the post above...
Well, it's been well over 6 months...and how is it working out for me? Lol...you still think I "might" change my tune? Well here you go: Best decision of my life. Night and day. How else can I put it?
Another point: Some of you at Mesa are afraid of making a lateral move because you think a Regional is a Regional is a Regional. Wrong. Listen carefully. Anywhere you go from Mesa will be a HUGE step up...including to any other Regional short of Great Lakes or Silver. You don't realize how much better other Regionals are run, how they are more professional, how better life is, etc...
Point is, it's not a lateral move if you are coming from Mesa. For Christ's sake look at the pay difference between Mesa and Envoy. That's just for starters. The training, maintenance, benefits, all of it is like going from a podunk commuter to a real airline. Get up and move now...you are wasting time at Mesa.
And giggity37...tell us how things are working out for you these days. Still want to make sarcastic, smug remarks? Still think you leaving Envoy for Mesa was a great move? We've come a very long way since that original post of yours, haven't we?

What on earth did I just watch? Is that advertisement seriously for professional pilots? "fly amongst the clouds from a birds eye perch"? Okay, yeah Im 12 years old and base my career decisions off a Morgan Freeman type voice blowing smoke up my ass with empty promises... haha
Good lord that was a colossal train wreck.
This video would be better suited to recruiting interest in flying by highschool kids, or middle school...
