Mesa 3.0

See for yourself, Mesa refuses to be competitive, they refuse to be proactive. I am spending a fortune on health care, I bleed money at Mesa. It is infuriating to see management happily and pig headedly shoot themselves in the foot. They have a wonderful pilot group that is abandoning the ship.

It's beyond hilarious that you defend Mesa when the only things you know are from the Internet...And to boot, you think that information allows you to know MORE than those that actually work for Mesa! Why don't you pm that 'out of trim' guy. He had the same idea, but he changed his tune when he actually hit the line.

That's the value of APC. Pilots working at the company can let prospective employees know what it's like to work there. It's up to prospective employees to use that information to make wise career decisions.
All in, including insurance benefits, work rules, retention bonuses, etc., other regional's compensation packages are actually more than DOUBLE Mesa's compensation. Recently it has become closer to TRIPLE. Mesa pilots are falling far far behind financially. It is financial suicide to be a Mesa FO.

What exactly is your reason for choosing Mesa? Base? It can't be pay, hotels, job security, quick upgrade, quality of life, the list goes on. Take some advice from the people who do work there and experience the suck on a daily basis instead of acting like an Internet tough guy. Better yet, you should definitely go to Mesa. Let me know if you need a letter of rec lol. If you so choose to go there, you will definitely suffer the consequences.
Good luck.

Is there a lot of FO's leaving to other regionals? I am an FO here at Mesa and just put my stuff into Envoy (thinking Endeavor as well). I was talking to the FO from Envoy that referred me and it sounds like he knows 4-5 guys (yes he did drop names) have left Mesa for Envoy in the last month or two. Just wondering if anyone has heard if there have been others leaving to places like Endeavor, Compass, Skywest, and PSA within the last couple of months?

Yes, people are leaving. The upgrade is over, and the pay is half of what you make elsewhere. Plus our medical and benefits are awful. I've spoke with Captains leaving for the wholly owned. I highly recommend leaving for a better company if you aren't within 50 of upgrading.
Agreed as I came for the fast upgrade (that is no longer here). Although I am still on reserve, I have to admit that the crews here are awesome to fly with. Going to miss that when I leave to either Envoy or Endeavor. The phone calls from JO and AH did it for me as I knew they were blowing smoke up our butts as it was comical to listen to. A 5th grader can negotiate a better contract than AH and the rest of the committee.
Have many Mesa captains been hired by "the big 3"?
