These "incentives" are in direct conflict with our CBA. By accepting one, it cuts the legs out from under a pilot group trying to reach a contract that is industry standard. And for what its worth, a new hire coming in today won't expect to upgrade for 2-3 years...provided Mesa is still in business by then...

Thank you guys
Why are you still asking about new hire bonuses after you said this 2 weeks ago?

I don't like the "incentives", but I don't think it's against the CBA, or we could have put a stop to it. Mesa management thrives in the gray areas of the contract. In this case, new hires don't fall under the contract until finished IOE. However, $10000 referral bonuses should be an issue!

Well... Lets see... You have Mesa people telling you to not come here, you have Envoy and PSA people telling you to not come here, and I am sure theres been an Endeavor person or two on this thread saying the same thing. All these people are trying to help you. Yes they also have a side interest for you to not come to Mesa, but 90% of it is that they want to help you. From my point of view, you could nail your dick to a railroad tie with a railroad spike and even miss once or twice, or decide to come to Mesa, and it would be a legitimate question that would take time to decide.
Well, ok, less drama. Mesa was the best thing I ever did in 2013. Mesa did everything promised to me and more, and no one else could at the time. Thats not today, I would not come to Mesa today as a new hire. Envoy, PSA, and Endeavor would be high on my list. If you have prior 121 jet time, go fly a 737 or 767 somewhere. Yes, those jobs exist.
If you want to stick a m-80 in your mouth and light the fuse, I won't stop you.

You are a perfect Mesa candidate. Enjoy your time there. It'll be the best thing that's happened to you.

probably the first part of this statement is true, the other part not so much.
I definitely see a lot of disgruntled people that enter Mesa knowing their salary was going to be 22.18. Now, so suddenly, Mesa is awful. The funny thing is they still working at Mesa and bad mouthing their employer.

My question would be ? How many failures or God knows what else, these people have on their records that no other regional's will take them ? ...so they have to stay at Mesa and venting though this forum.
