AH would not elaborate what pay rate they were seeking in the new contract even though he was asked multiple times . He said they were seeking 'industry standard'. My question is what the union's definition of industry standard is? Hopefully that does not include our pay scale, which is far, far behind our peers. That was the meat of the conversation after all the pointless talk of FDP.

With our union?

Hell no. Any information given was extremely vague with no sense of urgency and definitely no hard timelines other than the picketing event in December. Basically there is no tangible vision of where we should be or when we will get there.

No "specified" timeline, although some of the new union reps challenged the status quo. So keep watching your emails carefully though.

So it turns out you need pilots to fly airplanes. And it also turns out you need to pay pilots in order to have them fly airplanes. Except for those silly enough to consider Mesa in this environment. Good luck with that expansion house of cards JO has going over there. Should work out well...
