As a 3.5 year FO I am Definitley worried about my future here at Mesa. These times are uncertain and anything can happen. From my upgrade training last year to my most recent AQP I’ve noticed a major change in the thoughts and actions of those in higher positions. The thing that sets us above other airlines is our quality. We only hire the best. Hopefully American will see that and allow us to keep flying. Mesa is one big family, no matter what happens.

is this common at other airlines, to play games with people’s careers/lives? I understand if you’re not prepared, but most of us ARE prepared and professional.
Pilot retention program. It's tough to leave with a pink slip.

Honestly no your pay rates are way higher than ours with better benefits. You guys flunk new hires out of training like crazy after spending thousands of dollars on them, well PSA does. Before This pending recession I would have bet yes on Mesa losing AA flying and still can but I doubt it now. But i also don’t know how much of the difference JO pockets so total cost could be similar with that included. Mesa can also buy its own aircraft without AA taking on debt.

Remember a few months ago Expressjet guys were in our forum telling us they were taking our 175s...

Looks like we’re mostly centralizing everything back to PHX. DFW will still be a base but similar in size to SDF, for MX.
The only true thing in this post is more PSA through DFW. The rest is crap.

You're just a schill for PSA. I wasn't in the industry during the time when you guys sold out the entire industry for yourselves but I've had plenty of Captains explain it to me. You took what was others to feed yourselves. We will NOT let that happen at Mesa, we're one of the best companies going right now, and we're going to be in a strong position after this virus is done with all the cost saving measures the company has taken.

We're a publicly traded company we have the duty to do right not only by the pilots, but by our shareholders. The company compensates us well compared to other jobs, trust me I've had another career. I suggest you look up what capitalism is.
