ive heard they’re wanting to fail more crews on line checks and recurrent, for what reason??

also heard TG is gone... any word as to why? But heard ML is the newest one to avoid. 30% pass rate I heard. 2-hr orals for recurrent.
is this common at other airlines, to play games with people’s careers/lives? I understand if you’re not prepared, but most of us ARE prepared and professional.
I heard same. Desire to fail more and pass less.

yeah. Apparently ML failed a very senior CA who is super-senior IOE and check airman. They nearly came to blows in the sim.
THIS is unprofessionalism at its highest.

Thats scary. I’ve heard this, then from other people that recurrent wasn’t an issue at all.

My experience has been that about 70% are prepared and 30% are not prepared for AQP.

Been noticing more and more PSA birds parked in DFW. Word on the pipe is that they are to start taking delivery of 2 900’s a month for a total of 30 starting this October, to back fill their 200’s that are parked. Looks like we’re mostly centralizing everything back to PHX. DFW will still be a base but similar in size to SDF, for MX.

So you’re saying AA is about to buy more 900s for PSA growth?

I do not see how that is possible as we took delivery of our last one from the factory.

With chapter 11 looming on the horizon for American, isn’t it a possibility? A restructure of not only mainline but regional partners. You can not deny that bringing everything in house and potentially merging 2 of the wholly owned certificates wouldn’t make sense.
