False.

One of the recruiters, a larger guy
Fun fact: he used to lead our union. Go figure.

...hinted at the possibility of a merger with another CRJ carrier based in Chicago and Denver.
Maybe, but I can't imagine any sort of merger/acquisition would go well for our people in the final merged seniority list.

I want to trust him, he seems very knowledgable about the 121 world. I've got some decisions to make so I want to be well informed. Thanks!
The recruitment dumpster fire can never be put out.

The only true statement is that reserve probably will be very quick.

Not for Mesa though. Never for Mesa.
Is that once a year? 2 tickets for each eligible pass rider?

Hey Randy, I'm new here too. I'm currently going through the training process now as a first officer. The instructors are great, they'll do anything to help us get through training. Very patient, and extra sim sessions! The bonus and free iPad have really helped out a lot too. The $30,000 bonus also sounds like it's going to work out great and it's not too far off other regionals. It's been a great place to work so far and I know it's only going to get better. When my class went to the corporate luncheon, we all had a chance to meet management. They seemed like they were great people who truly care about their employees and the future of the company. They also told us upgrade is right around 2 years (hopefully less) so we're getting in at a perfect time! I was hesitant becoming an airline pilot at an older age, but it's working out well. I finally acquired my 1500 hours After 13 years flying GA here and there while owning an insurance company and finally decided to make a leap of faith and make my dreams come true. Mesa was the perfect fit for me. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Not really. If you look at the recruiting calendar of where they'll be our recruiters are spending ALOT of time going to schools selling Mesa. That's more then likely where he met them. Sure gosl is get fresh faced niave kids who don't know any better.

Thanks for the quick response guys! I'm sensing a lot of negativity! HAHA. I have been told by a few friends to keep my options and mind open, but hearing that new hire training is going so well for that guy really gives me a good feeling, plus the bonus right out of college will help out a lot. I'll be keeping my options open, but I'm really glad to hear some of the positives!
