I believe the pilots were just plain tired and wanted some money now. Many didn’t want this to drag out for a few more months because they didn’t plan to be here in that time. I doubt a many felt we are getting industry standard. I agree we had Mesa in a place where more would have been achieved, but in what timeframe.

And yet out of 1100+ pilots not a single one of them stood up and volunteered to do the job.
It's really easy for you to stand on the outside and point fingers. Were you ever a union volunteer or rep when you were here? Have you ever dealt with the company on a union level?
Think what you want about Andy. But he is by no means in the "company pocket" and at least has the guts to stand up and volunteer his time to do what he can for this place. Can the same be said for any of you?

Many did volunteer but did not like the dog and pony show and did not want to become poppets...
2003 printshop mulfunction of your TA
Ask AH and Don L who saved their jobs and federal indictment
Where did Don go to work after that ? Which side of the table was he ? How many grievances you lost because he will not pass his notes from his NC chairman meetings leading to 2003 disaster TA?
JO got them in his pocket since then
And his dream to make KW a manager and know first hand union info was accomplished . As far as volunteering don't get me going on that . You know better
No dues for H sticker ?

It wouldn’t have mattered if the company signed a contract for $60 for FO’s and $100 for CA’s..... the company would have(like they are currently) found a way either by challenging the definitions and language and eventually turned the deal in the company’s favor.
The pay was as close to standard(at the time) but the language is pure crap!!!

There is only one for my base and that discussion was all over the crew room when it happened. You always wonder why FO’s hired before 2016 aren’t upgraded. I am heard some say they like their schedule as it is and others say they just don’t want the responsibility. It is also clear some just don’t want to put the work in that is required to upgrade.

Or people like me trying to get the F out lol. Upgrading is my last resort. Mesa has been good to me and I'll miss the terrific people but I want out out out. I have PIC time so not worried about that. Some of of us are just being patient and waiting for our dream job instead of "A" different job. I have my time line of when I'll upgrade if I hear nothing.
