Mesa 3.0

The standing bid is out. Ejet upgrades went from 23 months to 25 months. My guess this (only 4 upgrades) is a result of the pitiful retention of Ejet FO’s (we lost 15 net Ejet FO’s last month) and the pitiful Ejet training program (we are still taking months to get pilots to IOE). Compass and Mesa are pretty much in a tie for the shortest Ejet upgrades, although SkyWest has been rumoring their new LGA base may award street Ejet CA’s.
A positive note is CRJ upgrades, which had been gradually increasing, fell from 24 months to 5 months. Or, basically, just a little longer than street CA’s and on par with industry.

So, you can upgrade quick and go to IAD and sit reserve for years, or upgrade a little later and hold a line quicker in other bases.

Well, to hold a line in IAD as captain it's somewhere around 4-5 years seniority here. SDF any captain, no matter how junior, can hold a line. DFW and PHX are also easier to hold a line than IAD.
