You're ragging on a guy because he appreciates and enjoy the company he works for? Maybe you should recage your moral compass. If you're unhappy with your career progression, don't take it out on others.

Damn dude such a quick and witty response. Either you've got an alert for me or you spend ALOT of time on here... either way sounds like a solid use of time and pleasant life

Are there any cheaper hotels near IAD? With a hotel shuttle.

Just curious if Mesa is actually hiring anyone now? I know it’s wired time now, but I applied back in December and got a phone call within 30 mins after I submitted my application, and they told me give them a call when I am 100% cleared to work without visa sponsorship, and finally I got my employment authorization card in my hand in May and I reapplied but got turned down about a week after and saying they can’t move forward at the moment despite I have “impressive” experience.

A little bit about myself, I have approx 2700TT and been working with a startup 135 for past 3 years on a work visa and finally got sponsored for Green Card without having to find someone marry. I liked what I do, but there’s no room for me to grow with the company and I’m just looking for something new to learn and hopefully grow. Any inside info on hiring would be greatly appreciated, I saw they are still posting pilot hiring every now and then and I understand it’s different now compared to when I initially applied.

It’s not you, no one is hiring. Keep your app updated and keep checking in once a week. If Mesa starts hiring again, you should be good to go. Right now about 45-50 people in training pipeline got sent home. Anyone who was not IOE complete. Fingers crossed, hopefully things pick up.

Exactly what the previous guy said. The Mesa pilot group is awesome, but right now flying for everyone is down and everyone is over staffed. We are expanding are UA side with the possibility of two new bases and building out our cargo branch. But, even though Mesa is expecting to renew its AA contract we are expecting a reduction of flights on that side. Depending how deep the cut goes will affect our furloughs or future staffing.
