You all work for a steaming pile of turd airline run by a lowlife scumbag criminal.
Unless you have already upgraded, have some self respect and leave the suck.
Other places pay better, provide you with an iPad, and yes, you don't have to pay for KCM, or stay at another motel while smelling cheap lot lizard hookers and the grease from a nearby waffle house. Oh, and let's not forget having to wear dark sunglasses just to shield your eyes from all the orange stickers.
Your MEC is weak! Getting weaker by the day! Remember to thank your MEC chair for allowing the creation of Freedom A and the abysmal contract that followed....Just ask your senior Capts about that little story. It's a Doozy!
There is no hope for a decent contract because Mesa will soon start to shrink and eventually fizzle out if not bought. Help accelerate that process by having some self respect and get the quality of life you all deserve.
Get on out. Keep those apps updated because the ULCCs are even calling regional fos now. Get a free Airbus type while enjoying a much better QOL and pay.
Oh, and by the way, you can keep that Going Sterile weirdo. He has lifer written all over him. Kinda reminds me of that Dan Leo weirdo. They'd make a great pair....of liability.

This has been a public service announcement.

I don't think we've had one in a year. Then this new WO payrates and bam, a conference call.

Will be interesting to see how attached or detached management is to the current situation/hiring environment.
There wasn't one last quarter, I think the previous one was in March/April.

If not an LOA at least he'll say they're improving hotel locations and brands.
This conference call is not about the pilots and the pay. It's for the whole company. So there will be your token mechanic and FA call in. But if you want to monopolize and control this call I suggest all of you participate and don't let JO off the hook like he did that iPad and new bonus monies.

I don't know about that.

I believe the recent significant pay increases signify the contrary. That other regional management has caught on. You either pay your pilots, or you won't have any. Almost every other (or is it EVERY other) "regional" is in tune with the new hiring environment and, more importantly, pilot RETENTION environment. And they have reacted accordingly. Seems they realize you can't fly airplanes without pilots.

Last decade's rules have changed. It's time to either catch up to the competition or get out of the game. Maybe tomorrow they will tell us which it's going to be. In the meantime, every pilot I know is updating their logbook and getting apps out if they haven't already. The writing is on the wall. Tomorrow JO will tell us what he's going to do about it.

Or he won't, and the grand exodus will begin.

Guys, you gotta see things from JO's shoes. He is the reason we all have a paycheck and will continue to have paychecks. You're all being too hard on him.

It's the chief pilot meet and greet that sealed the deal. Very hard to get. I've been trying in both Houston and Dulles for a couple of years. You get one of those, and you'll quickly get an interview.
