Like you said, summer flying ending will alleviate the problem a little. I'm curious to see if the rumors of new jets come true. That usually produces a bump in hiring for a while, which is how Mesa operates. We'll see if their normal tactics work for hiring.

I really don't understand why everyone keeps kicking the "going public" can down the road. In order for that to raise any money, the stock has to have buyers. Who in their right mind would invest in MAG?

Is it possible to get IAH right out of training?

If you're in an EJet new hire class, there is a 100% certainty you will get IAH right out of training.

If you're in a CRJ new hire class, there is a 0% chance you will get IAH right out of training.

What are the odds of getting IAH? When do they tell you what aircraft you will be assigned? The only reason I want Mesa is for IAH.

You don't officially know until the first day of class. That being said, since we're still finishing up Ejet deliveries, I'd say it's slightly more than 50% likely you would get that. You could also diplomatically and respectfully indicate that you would accept a class date for only the Ejet. They'd probably make it work.

IAH is our only ERJ base and that is not going to change for at least the next couple of years.

That probably changes when the 700 contract ends, right?
