I don't remember from the message this year any mention of year groups...AFAIK it only said that you have to have served "at least" 8 years of rated service and have no Flying Training ADSC.

The way I saw it, anyone who wasn't on the bonus, was beyond their UPT ADSC, and wanted to sign up for 5 more could get it.

Is that incorrect?

I don't think that's correct. Turn the bonus down when it's offered and you won't have another shot at it, unless they re-offer it to your year group again.

I can only speak for myself.

I passed on the bonus (Sep 05 deadline) and I could not take it again if I wanted to. The button on AMS knows I am not in the zone and tells me accordingly if I hit it. If I have the sound turned up really, really loud I swear I can hear someone laughing at me in the background.....

Interesting....I've been trying to get to the AFPC website for hours to check what the actual message says, and it's not loading.

Yeah, I can't get into AFPC as well tonight...

I missed the Air Inc but I'm psyched to catch the next one.
Is too many USAF guys showing a good thing or a bad thing...I guess it would be good to be on the front side of a hiring boom.

Okay, here we go:

THERE IS ONE ELIGIBILITY CATEGORY UNDER THE FY07 ACP PROGRAM: "INITIAL ELIGIBLE." AVIATORS WHO WERE ELIGIBLE FOR ACP AGREEMENT OPTIONS IN PREVIOUS FISCAL YEARS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR AN FY07 ACP AGREEMENT.
F*ck.

Man, the AF can't even offer a "good deal" without a sharp stick in the eye accompanying it.

So, the answer is...take it now, or forever hold your peace.

Remember they can't send you remote from your current locale unless you volunteer for it. Maybe the math works in your favor then...

Although that's true, and the math sets me up for a 7-day-option on a remote at my next assignment, I'd have to be completely on crack to separate with almost 17 years in (at that time)!!

That's exactly the type of thing that keeps me second-guessing my decision to sign or not sign.

Hacker, give it up, come join the rest of us...or...you could go to SJ and stick the stick further in your eye, but I'm sure you remember those days.
