Those on the outside will always cast stones simply because they could never attain or maintain such a high standard - one of study, discipline, and Officership/leadership.

To fly and lead those in a time of war has been my single biggest honor, and will never be tarnished by some internet douche on the sidelines that never has, was, or will be. I am continually filled with comfort when some internet clown runs his "suck" negatively toward those that have held those high standards. It always makes me smile, knowing that said douche, has hit the pinnacle achievement of his life, flying the red-eye out of SFO. Laughable.

To my brothers and sisters - long live those brave few. To the rest of you -continue to dream of our adventure and peril.

Not really sure how the two really relate. Even more, not sure how being Timmy Martins F/O relates to anything as well.

I gotta ask the question - a 37-year-old ensign has trashed the career of a Squadron Commander ????

Prior enlisted, became a Cheif... probably was picked up as an LDO. Limited Duty Officer. Commissioned, but are not eligible to command. Usually stay within their career field as experts/mentors.

Single seat squadrons are small, usually 12-15 pilots and 3-5 LDO's that will be maint/admin officers, etc and are folded into the wardroom (this one mistakenly a little too soon it would seem).

I'm sure that the folks at the Naval Special Warfare Group will be much more "sensitive" to his "sensitivities".
I cannot imagine a bunch of SEAL's and SWCC's saying anything mean to him.

Given how hair triggered this guy was to launch an IG complaint, I'm guessing that the Specwar guys are giving him a wide berth and keeping him at arms length beyond whatever his day to day duties are. But you're right, that's a tight knit community that has zero tolerance for non-conformity. They refer to themselves as Teams for a reason.

Let's be clear here, the investigators cleared the squadron on wrong doing in the "call sign" Controvesry. However, it appears the CO decided to give the ensign an adverse fitrep following the incident based on the investigation. As you know you cannot go after someone that filed a compliant via the fitrep..... So looks like a bad move by the Skipper in an attempt to land the Ensign in the hot seat..
