It's never been the Unions job to tell management to staff according to a certain formula outside of the CBA requirements.

It's never been the Unions position to tell management they should have paid FOs more in the 15 CBA.

That being said, if the numbers of PRIA checks climb to alarming levels, I think management will pay more to retain. Possibly all of us but certainly SICs.

Hiring will be a function of simulator capacity. Remember, the "signature" series portion of the Phenom 300 NJA took was, among other things, a Garmin 3000 install. Simcom or some other sim company had a contract with Emb to teach the EMB-505 (300) exclusively... which wouldn't work with NJA placing orders/options for 125 frames.

To "fix the glitch" NJA and Emb created the EMB-505S. Garmin equipped 300... which fell outside the contract for "Simcom".

Good thing was now training could take place in CMH. Bad thing... we only have this sim... no others NJA had access to with the Garmin 3000 suite.

Once NJA installs sim 2 and moves sim 1 from the old building, it will have the capacity to train NJUS, Europe and accommodate more new hires and upgrades. Right now, it's limited newhires, transitioning captains and recurrents... with a smattering of new upgrades and initials.

Capacity is coming.... until the facility is up and running, talking about more hiring and growth is just talk.

And yes... furloughed major airline pilots are major airline pilots with recall rights until they rescind.

Did you ever make it to a major cockpit Falcon? If not, what happened??

So they retired and came to NJA. We have lots of retired people come to NJA. That's not someone just up and quitting their major job to come here, nice try though. Would you have come to NJA if you didn't get furloughed? Of course not.

Jetlife, on post 713, page 72 of this thread your advice was a little different to what it is now. It seems you loose interest with your new jobs very quickly.

If you're married I'll bet your wife is a nervous lady.

I wonder how long it will take before that new car smell fades at your new job.

Your posts would have much more credibility if your emotions didn't corrupt your statements.

It really makes it difficult for a prospective applicant to get the true picture.

Update your intel if you're gonna troll the NetJets board *

How's the corporate gig going *? Are you happy? I'd like to know. Honestly.

It's a very fluid time with many folks coming and going to and from NetJets. None of us know if our decisions were good until the end of our careers.

Nothing that wasn't done to me firstly brother... only I'm not trying to attack. I'm asking honest questions in response to very condescending attacks that are beneath him.

This is a guy I flew with several times, went to college with a few years apart, etc. he NJA via furlough and chose not to return. It sounds like that is what he wanted. He relocated to California near family. Nice corporate Falcon gig.

I'm really trying to find out why he's so angry on this forum. It's disheartening to see.

Seeing that it's 2016.... :eyesroll.

Unless furloughed, fired, or retired.... there is NOT one... not one single Airline Captain at DL, UA, AA, SW, AL, FedEx, UPS who has ever left his/her airline for a career at NetJets. Never has happened and never will. Sure, 4 dudes age 59 left in 2005 to take the cash buyout before bankruptcy. That's a special situation. They didn't wake up one day and say... this 777 is a drag, I think I'd rather fly a 12,000lb phenom.

The DNC could use a public affairs spinner like you. I realize that you have a salty taste in your mouth from the 121 career that left you standing in rain with no jacket... but NJ isn't all that dude.

I couldn´t agree more Auto.....especially with your last sentence.

This has become a b....ching forum for some loosers who just can´t get their aviation life under control

All I can say is, do some research, listen to a few different opinions and more than anything else, ask yourself if a specific job is right for you.

I wish we could provide unbiased information to good guys and girls out there who would fit right into Netjets.
But no, we tell BS stories about this Ops and try to influence people who are interested in a position here.
Who does that?? Seriously?

drives me nuts.......

Respectfully,

You can't cherry pick the good times with the bad.

Delta pilots have to come to NetJets and other companies post 9/11. Fact.

In fact, I met another pilot yesterday in BNA Atlantic that went to Citation Shares after 28 years at Delta left with his retirement rather than lose 100%.

Is it happening now? No. Upgrade is 11 months at Delta right now. That too won't last indefinitely.

Again, you can't cherry pick in a hiring boom and ignore the horrible days that invariably come knocking.

That's foolish.
