In the interview, don’t let them tell you that your Type helps and that it’s possible to get put in it, I promise you they will try to convince you of that but it ain’t gonna happen.

It depends on if you opt in to 8 day trips or not. If not it's usually something like 6 on 3 off through the whole month or maybe 7 on 4 off 6 on 3 off 5 on rest of month off. Remember if you opt into the 8 day trips you are guaranteed 5 off after and you get a small pay bump.

No it gives you literally zero advantage. I was typed in the XL and was put into the Phenom 300. Seat lock is 39 months.

If you want to live in Jackson, Mississippi - Netjets is a pretty good job. If you live in an area with higher cost of living, stay far far away.

They'll tell you that your type matters for assignment, that you can slide your tours to get more weekends off, and that upgrades are coming fast. It is all BS.

Wow.....I was thinking that NetJets was a dream job for most corporate pilots.

I don't know a single person that has ever referred to, or ever regarded NetJets as a dream job. 70% of the pilot group came there because they were on the street and desperate, another 20% came there out of the military, 10% came after the 2006 IBB because they pay increased a lot and lots of expansion made upgrades quick.
I don't know the percentage of people that were hired post furlough that have left but I bet its close to 20%, with an even larger percentage of new hires with their apps already out.

The only thing NetJets has going for it over a "normal" corporate job is the ability to live just about anywhere and a fixed schedule. I was in one of the first groups to interview once the window opened back up, and I didn't get the job. I was highly disappointed at the time cause I was at a ****ty charter job, but both of the jobs I've moved on to since then have blown EJA out of the water with just about everything.
